Defining traits of your character
What you love about your job
Everything actually. But especially being able to establish physical and not just verbal contact, as with massages, an exchange of energy; and seeing the clients’ satisfaction in their eyes at the end.
The thins you appreciate most about your collaborators
Honesty, them being direct and open with me, their helpfulness and willingness to improve together.
Other people’s flaws you can’t suffer
Rudeness and haughtiness.
Your biggest flaw
I’m stubborn and sometimes too direct.
Your favourite hobby
Music and films.
If you had a different job at these same facilities, what would it be?
I love my job too much to be able to do something different from what I do now!
Your favourite area at the facilities where you work
Obviously, the Spa and especially the cabins, a small space where I can truly be myself.
The best moment in your working day
The end of a massage, when I realise whether the client has appreciated what I wanted to transmit.
If your job were a movie, what movie would it be?
What Women Want.
The book on your bedside table
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
Your secret dream
I can’t tell you, or it won’t come true!
The first thing you notice when you walk into a hotel
The helpfulness and courtesy of Reception staff, but then I look around at the furniture and cleanliness.
What must a hotel offer to make you a happy customer?
Customer care is essential, the calm and radiance of staff.
Your favourite holiday destination
European capitals, and cultural trips in general.
The country in which you would like to live
If I were to move, I would say Ireland.
Working with you is...
Fun, professionalism, exchange and growth.
If you had chosen a different profession, what would it have been?
Biologist or physiotherapist.
Essential qualities to do your job
The ability to relate to people, talk, transmit trust, have patience, be discreet and professional. And especially knowing your job and being good at it.
What you hate most
Arrogance and haughtiness.
What would you say to a young person wanting to pursue your career?
It’s a job that involves “contact”, clients perceive a lot, especially whether or not you like your job. So I would tell them to choose this profession only if they are really passionate about it, not because they don’t know what else to do, even if it looks easy.
The hotel of your dreams
I’ll let the little girl in me answer this question: a castle! Actually, it doesn’t exist, the important thing is that it makes me feel at home.
What you expect from the hotel in which you work
I expect continuous growth from both a professional and human point of view, and the creation of a good team to work together in a pleasant atmosphere.
What they say about you
I don’t know, I wish I did!
You wake up at the age of 90 and...
I would like to look back and be proud of what I have done.
Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself.
