Thrills and pure fun for expert bikers who are not afraid of descents.
The first section of the route consists of a series of tough climbs which bring us into the mountains, before embarking on a spectacular and demanding descent.
Leaving Boffenigo Small & Beautiful, we arrive in Costermano and head towards Castion Veronese.
After crossing the Marciaga golf course we begin the ascent of Val Longa, at the end of which a short downhill stretch leads to Spighetta. From here it's a steep climb to the centre of San Zeno di Montagna.
Our effort is rewarded with one of the most fabulous views of this area. One more brief push takes us up to the Pineta Sperane forest, where we plunge into the dense Alpine vegetation.
We keep an eye on the GPS to avoid getting lost in the maze of forest trails, and tighten our helmets ready for the fantastic and breathtaking, yet demanding, descent back to Castion Veronese. After all that adrenaline, the gentle descent to the hotel is pleasantly relaxing.
