Gardalake and parks

Lake Garda is home to numerous theme parks, ideal destinations for adults and children or teenagers looking for a pleasant day out. The choice is wide in this area; in fact there are theme parks, water parks and natural parks, all located along the shoreline or nearby.
Among these attractions and certainly the best-known in Italy is Gardaland, recognised once again this year by Tripadvisor as number 1 in the Top Ten Amusement and Water Parks in Italy and number 6 in Europe for the 2014 Travellers’ Choice Awards.

The park was founded in 1975 by local entrepreneur Livio Furini, who visited Disneyland in California and decided to build a similar park in Italy. Over the years the park has been renovated, with many new attractions for all ages: from "fantasy" for the youngest children to "adventure" for families, and "adrenaline" for teenagers and young adults, as well as plenty of shows which are constantly upgraded.
The secret of Gardaland's enormous success lies in its commitment to giving visitors a memorable time every time, always guaranteeing high quality, organisation and professionalism in its services and offers.
If you decide to visit Gardaland it is well worth keeping a little time, say two hours, to also visit Sea Life Aquarium, located in the parking area outside the amusement park. Here you can see thousands of marine specimens, including the most amazing inhabitants of the fresh and salt waters of our planet, in a series of themed environments which perfectly recreate various natural habitats.
