Countdown to the start of the summer season: Garda's theme parks are reopening after months of lockdown, as are many other venues, from hotels to restaurants. Here at the Boffenigo we're also ready to get back to normal, and we can't wait to welcome our guests from 18 June and give them a wonderful experience based on wellness and safety.
How the parks will reopen
The latest decree passed in Veneto in late May gave the green light for the reopening of amusement parks, water parks and zoos, which on Lake Garda are among the main tourist attractions for adults and children alike. It's a really positive development in both social and economic terms.
Obviously the reopening must happen in a controlled way and with clear guidelines to protect the health of staff and visitors: numbered tickets and online bookings to prevent queuing at the entrance, face masks, social distancing of at least a meter, and hand sanitiser stations for general use. These safety measures are all easy to follow, but essential in this delicate phase following the pandemic.
The Natura Viva safari park, just 12 km from the Boffenigo, already opened, as did Gardaland, on Saturday 13 June and Sigurtà Garden Park in Valeggio sul Mincio. Movieland and Canevaworld opened on 19 June. These are also theme parks not far from our hotel. The Boffenigo is actually close to some of the best attractions in northern Italy, perfect destinations for children, teenagers or families looking for an enjoyable day out.
The summer season and the relaunch of tourism on Lake Garda are about to start, and we're first in line to do things better than ever, with all the necessary precautions for a safe, relaxing holiday without missing out on fun.
