This route is specially designed to allow beginner cyclists and the less fit to enjoy the spectacular views visible from the south slopes of Monte Baldo, at 1800 metres above seal level. Setting out from Boffenigo Small&Beautiful, we cycle to the Garda bus terminal, where we take the bus & bike service for Prada.
From Prada the route sets out downhill until we reach the start of the ascent towards the plateau of Due Pozze.
From here we follow an unpaved road up to 1800 m a.s.l., where there are two mountain huts. At the top we find what is probably one of the most fabulous views on earth: a 360-degree panorama of Lake Garda and the Adige Valley.
In clear weather, you can see as far as the Modena Apennines and the Venetian Lagoon.
On the way down, the same unpaved road takes us to 1300 metres; here we turn left and continue to Val Fredda. We then begin the long descent through the mountain villages of Pradonego, Vilmezzano and Gaon, to reach the Caprino plain with its villages Boi and Pesina, before returning to Costermano and the hotel.
